FoundrPost is built by a founder, for founders. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We keep it short because we respect your time.

What We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Email address — collected via Clerk when you sign up, used to identify your account and send transactional emails.
  • Generated posts — the posts FoundrPost creates for you are stored so you can access them later.
  • Usage data — we track how many posts you have generated to enforce plan limits.
  • Billing information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Voice profile — if you choose to set one, the text describing your writing style is stored and used to personalise AI output. This is optional and you can delete it at any time.

How We Use It

We use your data to provide and improve FoundrPost — to generate your posts, enforce your plan limits, process payments, and send you transactional emails (receipts, password resets). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

Third-Party Services

FoundrPost relies on the following trusted services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

  • Clerk — authentication and user management
  • Supabase — database and storage
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Anthropic Claude — AI content generation (your notes are sent to Anthropic's API to generate posts)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • PostHog — product analytics (page views, feature usage)

Your data is not shared with any other third parties.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (Clerk) and analytics (PostHog). PostHog may set cookies to track product usage in aggregate. We do not run advertising cookies or sell behavioural data.

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes (e.g. invoices).

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at hello@foundrpost.com. We will action your request within 14 days.
